Is my data secure?
Your data is absolutely secure. Your data is kept private and will never be made available to anyone else. Your data is assimilated from its source and used by Metals AI to build our worldwide model. Your source data is never changed, moved, or duplicated.
How fast is it?
The speed to assimilate your data depends on the size and complexity of the source information, ranging from a few hours to a few days for the initial set up. Metals AI tools- like projecting geology into 3D, resource calculation, or even geochemical fingerprinting- are very fast (minutes)!.
Some of my data is in 2D, in different projection systems, and key base data is missing or doesn’t exist. Is this a problem?
No problem at all. Our assimilation process uses a worldwide elevation model to convert or project 2D data into 3D. Metals AI recognizes every EPSG projection system and if it encounters something unexpected or is uncertain- it’ll ask you!
What is the model that Metals AI builds?
The model is presented like resource model, where the blocks of data in 3D space that contain information about metals and minerals, geology, structures and geophysics. These blocks be also be accessed as shapes combining requested information such as geologic formations or resource volumes (eg “show me sites of all anomalous predicted copper in Europe”).
How do I access the data?
Use paid software (eg. Leapfrog 3D, Minesite, Maptek) or open source software (QGIS, Blender 3D), or even move straight to tabular format (Excel, Tabular).
Can I use the results and products in professional reports, press releases and securities filings (NI 43-101, JORC?)
Absolutely! Just reference the Metals AI platform and tool used. The documentation of each tools’ methodology is available along with audit reports and confidence analysis so that you and end users know who and what they can trust.
